Limitations of Search Operators

Page count shown by site: operator is an estimate, not exact index count. GSC is required for accurate indexing status.
Personalization Effects
Results vary by login status, search history, and location. Incognito mode is always recommended.
Some Operators Discontinued
- cache: (discontinued February 2024)
- link: (inaccurate for long time, not recommended)
- info: (some features reduced)
Maximum Result Limit
Search operator results show only about 1,000 entries. Use GSC for full indexing status on large sites.
Korean Market Application
Korean Search Operators
English operators work the same for Korean searches. Use English quotes (") for Korean phrase search.
"What is SEO" → correct
Using Korean-style quotes → behavior uncertain
Naver Search Operators
Naver supports only some Google operators.
| Feature | Naver | |
|---|---|---|
| Exact phrase " " | Yes | Yes |
| Exclude - | Yes | Yes |
| site: | Yes | No |
| intitle: | Yes | No |
| filetype: | Yes | No |
